Food donations are an integral part of Food Bank for the Heartland’s mission. We rely on donated food in order to provide nourishing meals for thousands of people each month. Learn how you can contribute during Strike Out Hunger and which food items are most needed below.

Boxes for collection are provided by the Food Bank. Please contact Dani Helm at DHelm@FoodBankHeartland.org to schedule a time to pick up your boxes.

Food Dropoff

Food Drop Off

Delivering food directly to our warehouse allows you to enhance your impact in the fight against hunger. Food Bank for the Heartland is located at 10525 J Street, Omaha, NE 68127.

Donations are accepted Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please contact Dani to schedule a delivery time for your Strike Out Hunger donation to ensure the donation will be properly credited to your company.

Reminder: The last day to collect food donations is Friday, June 30. The deadline to drop-off your food items is Thursday, July 6 before 2:00 PM.
