NOTICE: Some SNAP recipients in Nebraska have reported losing SNAP EBT funds due to scammers making fraudulent purchases. DHHS is currently investigating, and recommends that all users change their EBT card pin immediately.

Read the press release from DHHS for additional important details.

Unfortunately, stolen EBT benefits cannot be replaced. Reporting any loss will assist investigators and help prevent future fraud. To report a loss, please email [email protected] and include the following information:

• Name
• MC #
• Date you found out about the loss
• Approximate amount of loss

Despite the disruption to SNAP benefits in November, our SNAP/Food Resources Hotline remains open, and our team of experts is available to assist individuals in finding food, including those currently enrolled in SNAP, those with pending applications, or anyone in need of food assistance.

If you’re struggling to afford the food you and your family need, we’re here to help. While Food Bank for the Heartland does not distribute food directly from our warehouse, we offer multiple ways to easily secure food. Use the tools below to find community resources and learn more about utilizing federal SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits to help cover the cost of groceries.
