On Tuesday, April 25, all Runza locations donated 10% of their proceeds to the Food Bank’s BackPack Program—which distributes weekend meals to elementary school children across Nebraska and western Iowa. The one-day event received radio coverage from KAT 103.7, Power 106.9, and Channel 94.1.
Community members came out to enjoy delicious food and support a great cause. The 6th annual Feeds the Need event raised more than $15,700 across 34 Runza locations. These funds will allow the Food Bank to sponsor 95 children in our BackPack Program for an entire year.
