Nebraska mom takes personal message on food insecurity to Capitol Hill

Kayla Tobey was part of a small Nebraska contingent that went to Capitol Hill to persuade members of Nebraska’s congressional delegation to support ending a ban on SNAP food assistance to people whose past includes drug felony convictions. The group, backed by 10 Nebraska organizations, wants to remove the ban via language in the 2023 farm bill. Rep.
