Hy-Vee stepped up its commitment to help neighbors in need during Hunger Action Month. The Food Bank was presented with a check for nearly $300,000 as part of the regional chain’s 100 Million Meal Challenge. Hy-Vee launched the initiative in March across its eight-state region through a register round-up to provide 100 million meals to Feeding America’s network of food banks across the Midwest. This generous donation will provide nearly 900,000 meals to neighbors making unthinkable decisions every day.
