For many, a daily meal is just a choice of what to eat for dinner. But for people facing hunger, a daily meal poses a very different type of choice. It’s often an impossible choice between food and other critical needs such as electricity, childcare, or medicine.
Sunday, September 1 marks the start of Hunger Action Month. Food Bank for the Heartland is proud to partner with Feeding America to inspire people to take action and raise awareness for millions of Americans facing the impossible choice of hunger. Join the Food Bank in helping us raise 1.3 million meals this month for Heartland neighbors in need.

For this special month, the MICHELLE & MICHAEL Berlin Family Foundation and DAVID & JANE OFFUTT are providing a matching gift of up to a total of $65,000!
Orange is the color of hunger relief. Help us spread awareness throughout the month, and especially on Hunger Action Day—Tuesday, September 10. We’re excited to share that RAYGUN has again partnered with the Food Bank to design two special t-shirts—with 20% of the proceeds from each shirt going back to the Food Bank.
