Our mission: To eliminate hunger in the Heartland by ensuring consistent access to healthy foods through community partnerships.
We have a big job on our hands, which is why we see the fight against hunger as an ongoing, collaborative effort. Through the collective power of our leadership, staff, partners, volunteers, and donors, we are able to reach more communities, serve more people, and address food insecurity in a more direct and effective way. As new needs arise, we are ready.
Food Bank for the Heartland is committed to fighting food insecurity.
For 40 years and counting, we’ve worked to provide emergency and supplemental food to our neighbors in Nebraska and western Iowa. We couldn’t do this life-changing work without our 544 network partners and the support of volunteers, advocates and donors like you. See how you’re helping to make an impact across the 93 counties we serve.
